Spiti Valley is a Himalayan desert mountain valley situated at an average height of 13,000 feet in the north-eastern part of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Often regarded as a chunk of Tibet marooned in India, Spiti Valley is enigmatic and is interspersed with tiny hamlets and serene monasteries sitting precariously on mountain crags spread across its notched moonscape. The scattered villages comprise of whitewashed mud-brick homes amid rugged mountains and barley fields.

Day 1 - Delhi – Manali ( Overnight Bus )
Board your bus to Manali , overnight bus

Day 2 - Manali
Pick up on arrival in Manali and transfer to hotel for rest and showers. Full day at leisure to explore a bit of Manali visit Hadima Temple , Vashishtha Temple and spend some time in hot water springs. Rest of day can be sent in Old Manali market.

Day 3 - Manali – Rohtang Pass – Batal – Chandrataal
We’ll leave Manali early morning and reach Rohtang Pass (approx 4000 meters) for a bit of rest, sightseeing and photo opportunities. We’ll then drive towards Batal and stop there for a lunch. After that, we’ll drive Chandrataal Lake and stay there in camp nearby for the night. Dinner and bonfire at the campsite.

Day 4 - Chandrataal – Kunzum La -Kibber – Kaza kibber back to Kaza (full day)
From Chandrataal we’ll drive towards Kunzum La, ( 4550 meters) a major landmark. There is a temple dedicated to a Goddess Kunzum in middle of pass. We’ll then visit Kibber village (4200 meters), one of highest inhabited villages in the world. Main attraction is the huge Key Gompa monastery of Gelugpa Buddhism sect. We’ll spend the night in our hotel in Kaza.

Day 5 - Kaza – Geyu Village ( 500 year old Mummy ) -Tabo
After breakfast transfer to Tabo , on the way visit Geyu Village , After sumdo police registration to visit the 500 year old Mummy. After Sumdo police registration, detour towards Geyu Village to visit the 500 Year old MummyAbout 8 – 9 Hrs drive, depending upon the breaks you take in between,
Visit Nakko lake , Meet the dreaded Malling Nalla ahead of Nako. Overnight at Tabo.

Day 6 - Tabo – Dhankar- Pin Valley ( Kungri –sangam-mud trailing ) – Kaza
Next morning, we’ll drive to Dhankar and visit Gompa which is situated high above the valley. It used to be a fort and residence of king of Spiti. The view from this point are mind blowing. We’ll also visit Lalung Gompa. Visit Pin valley is a beautiful valley in Lahaul and Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh; formed by Pin River that runs throughout its length, before merging with Spiti River. Though within Spiti, the ecosystem of Pin Valley is completely different than that of Spiti and its pristine beauty is quite fascinating. Wildly furious but majestic Pin River flows right through it, turning the entire valley in to carpets of green with snowcapped mountains rising in the background. Sunny weather, strong winds, miles and miles of isolation, stunning views, enchanting silence, colorful flowers all around, transformation from shades of a desert to acres of greenery We’ll reach Kaza by night and spend the night in hotel there.

Day 7 - Kaza – Manali
Next morning, we’ll drive back to Manali from Kaza along the same route we came passing Kunzum Laa, Batal, Chatru and Rohtang Pass. staying overnight in Manali

Day 8 - Manali – Delhi overnight bus
Morning at your own leisure, Board Your bus toward Delhi , overnight at Bus
